New Year, New Layouts

Don't get too excited about my frequent blogging! I don't know where it's coming from but make the most of it before I am back to school on Tuesday.

Today I did this LO. It's for the Sarah's Cards Sketch Challenge, it took me ages to get inspired and this was my third attempt but I like how it turned out....
I used my new Martha Stewart Doiley Lace punch that was an ebay bargain.
Also added a bit of handstitching which I am loving at the moment (did I ever stop loving it?)
Yesterday I dug out my September Gogo kit, it was such a bumper one that I still have quite a bit left so I scrapped this pic of my nephew Wes, which I thought was so cute, he probably won't though as he's 21 now!
I was a bit worried the bugs were a bit girly but I think they look ok.....
I had to scrape together several different alphas for the title. I'm in need of some new letters of various types but am holding out in the hope there will be some in my prize, otherwise I will be hitting the sales cos there are some bargain Thickers out there!
So that's how I've been spending the first days of the New Year. I am starting to run low on supplies and therefore, inspiration so I neeeeed this parcel to arrive now. Fingers crossed for Monday!
