Fix

It's been a crazy busy week. Starting my placement, busy days at school, having a new boiler fitted, starting my birthday celebrations and all this on top of still feeling poorly. I have, however, still been very crafty. Unfortunately the light has been awful so I still haven't managed to take photos of my Getaway layouts, the forecast for tomorrow is ok so hopefully you won't have to wait too much longer to see the dozen or so pages I have to share with you.

For now, I will share with you my new stash fix from the Getaway shop. Firstly, there is the MASSIVE pile of bits that I had left over from the classes, I cannot believe how generous the kits were.
Then there was a spare class kit from a class that I didn't take but really wanted to do. I have already completed this layout and will share soon.
Next was Mix and Mend, I wasn't sure at first as I thought it seemed like it was already done for you but when I saw it I realised how versatile it could be. So I obviously had to get the stickers and alphas too!
We were some of the first people in the world to get the new Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 range so I snapped up a couple of sheets.
When I saw these papers I knew they would be perfect for photos of our first choir performance at Christmas, so you won't see this used for a while yet. And what can I say about those rose brads, I just had to didn't I???
Some Lily Bee Christmas papers.
And then onto my big discovery of the weekend. I'd never really given Glitz a second glance before and apart from having the odd sheet in kits I'd never used it but when I saw the Hoopla line I had to have it and that wedding cake stamp will be perfect for the wedding album that I really should be doing a few more pages for!!
And I totally fell in love with the Scarlett range.
I was just drawn to these Lily Bee papers.
And some fabulously cute Thickers in colours I am hoping will go with my Christmas journal.
And finally some Elle's Studio journalling tags, I just love those woodgrain ones.
It was just so nice to do some real life stash shopping, I really enjoyed it but am kinda glad I can't do it more often!!
So today I am recovering from a night out with my best friends last night, it was totally worth the headache tho. Tomorrow I have to go shopping to replace my boots that I practically live in because the zip broke today, I need to make sure I'm all up together for uni on Monday and placement on Tuesday and then some friends are popping round to see me for my birthday, inbetween all that I HAVE to watch the GP and of course round off the day with the final ep of Downton Abbey, busy busy. Best get some sleep!
xxx
Oh and I'd best photograph those layouts too!!!
