And finally some sneaks of a layout that I have been working on, it's not finished yet so I will show you properly when it is. I'm not 100% happy with it but I rarely like my layouts until they have a title so I will reserve judgement!!

Slowly, Slowly......
I have managed a whole crafty evening! The layouts aren't exactly flowing but I am getting there. I thought I would try some smaller projects to give the mojo a gentle nudge so I made this little hanging/framey thing!
I thought it would be good to do a boyish one as I always have girly things in reserve and might need a present for someone who has a little boy. I've had these chipboard robots for ages so I took the opportunity to use one. I actually had real fun making something so playful!
Then I decided to tackle the mini canvas in last months gogo kit, I wanted to not rush this as I only had one and wanted to be happy with it....and I am!
So pretty that, surprise, surprise, I want more of them....a whole row would look so gorgeous in my craft room.

Bikes and Birthdays
Oh dear... I said I'd be back a week ago but I'm afraid it just didn't happen! Absolutely nothing creative was happening here but I was chilled about it, left the craft room and did other things instead. I had a brilliant weekend, I went to watch this......
And made her a special banner.......
I knew when she saw it that she would realise just how much I loved her by the number of Thickers I had used!!!!
MotoCross! I was dragged with my best friend Sarah and her friend Amy to watch their partners racing. I was a bit reluctant and it didn't start well, it was cold, dusty and noisy, but I was converted when we got in the van to warm up and had some good girly laughs over cheesy chips from a kebab van and once refreshed, got back out just in time to watch Laurence get a trophy for 2nd place! Of course the highlight of the day was the pub meal at the end of it all, and as a bonus I made some new friends and had a great time with old ones!
The other big event of the weekend was my Mum's birthday. She was out the night before her birthday so I made her pressies look lovely....
So, today, eventually, my mojo has started to slowly return....thank goodness I hear my bored blog readers shout!!! I even managed two layouts, both using Cosmo Joyride. This one......
My first layout with a Hipstamatic picture! I was really pleased with the stamped and embossed paint splodges.
Then next was this one......
A close up of the stitching and embossed stars.
In other news, I have been on my first official Maid of Honour duty. Emma and I went dress shopping yesterday and had a ball. I think she realised though just how emotional I am likely to get at the wedding, when I was almost in tears at the dress shop! I did warn her but I think she thought I was joking!
On the uni front I have recieved all my details including a time table and reading list. The only dowside of the whole two years is that my first teaching block starts on the Monday before the wedding, but hey, that's just something I'll have to get on with cos there's nothing I can do about it. I have filled in a mountain of forms and made a start on the reading.....exciting times! Although now slightly worried on embarking upon a teaching career under a Conservative government..........
Thanks for your patience! xxxx

Back Down To Earth
I know what you're thinking and you're right, this is a blatant case of blog neglect and yes, is it because I am still recovering from the celebrations!! Thank you for all your lovely messages, the news is just about sinking in and I am very excited about what's to come.
Anyway, I managed to lose my mojo in all the excitement so no scrapping has happened, despite a day in my lovely friend Kim's craft room at the weekend, but last week did give me a few photo op's which will hopefully give my mojo a poke back into action!
On Thursday I had some snuggles with this lovely lil guy.....
Check out that neck, I could chew it....
And of course his cutie, chocolate covered sister.....
Then I had some laughs at this daft mutt! Who, I might point out, was fast asleep like this.....
And on Friday night I did some celebrating with my Bestie Sarah (in the middle) and caught up with Sam (left) who I haven't seen for like 5 years or something silly like that! We had a curry with 10 others and a great (and very late) night!
And I am still loving the Hipstamatic! Am gonna try printing some tomorrow, could be just the thing to get me scrapping again. The mojo is returning slowly and I have made a start on a project I have been commissioned to do, so with any luck I will be back with pics soon!

Just In Time
Today I was provided with some inspiration just when I needed it. Tuesday is my long afternoon as I don't have to collect Mum until 5 so I have a bit longer to myself, but I wasn't sure what to do with myself until Janice set us a mid week Gogo Challenge. The challenge was to use items from 3 kits so this is mainly March, some paper and stones from Feb and the twine is from Jan.
Sorry about the pic, I am limited to scanning at the moment as I left the battery charger for the camera at the caravan so am without it until the weekend. The scanner doesn't like anything 3d but at least I can share for now.
This is the layout I did at Scrapaholix yesterday, it's very similar to the one I did last month but nevermind!!

Love That Face
I sat down this evening, with the whole evening free to scrap, after a chaotic week with absolutely no time to scrap, and I drew a blank! Didn't have a clue what to do, so I turned to the internet for inspiration and found this months Sarah's Cards Challenge, a sketch designed by Rachel. It was just what I needed to spark off my imagination and I did this.....
Using OA Thrift Shop, plus some Thickers and a few other stickers from my stash. I just love those papers, especially the background one and I think they work really well with the black and white photo.

Vintage
I've had some fun cutting into my OA Thrift Shop papers. When I first saw the collection I thought that they would be perfect for this photo which is one of my faves in the world!! It's my Dad and Aunty in their Sunday School photo. My Dad is the little guy with the big ears in the middle.
And then one with my Gogo kit. This is one of the few photos of my Mum and all her sisters together. I was in the mood to go all out with pretty detail, so I did!
There were so many gorgeous embellies in the kit this month that I couldn't resist using the pebbles, pins and pearls (all the p's!!) on one page!
